Setting new standards The improved Concept R 2 is a complete 5.1 speaker set which combines exceptionally stylish design and massively impressive sound at an extremely low price! Offering such a stylish combination with brilliant sound at budget-friendly prices demonstrates the Teufel commitment to setting new standards in the home cinema market. Home cinema intensity The Concept R 2 set is composed of six elements: four columns with front and rear speakers, a centre channel speaker for voice and dialogue and an active subwoofer with 150 watt sine output power for bass. Fact: the new woofer has 50% more power than its predecessor, which was no slouch itself. This makes the Concept R 2 a perfect choice for living areas up to 30 sqm. With its powerful sound, the Concept R 2 guarantees intense home cinema enjoyment. Versatile aesthetics Featuring a beautiful blend of silver and black finish and wenge elements, the thin satellite speakers used in the Concept R 2 can easily compliment a wide variety of interior decorating styles - from a country look to 1970's retro. The magnetically insulated horizontal centre channel speaker ideally takes centre stage next to the TV, while the subwoofer is placed unobtrusively on the floor. Crisp treble, harmonious sound The column speakers employed in the Concept R 2 include a new 25 mm cloth tweeter for clear and crisp treble while the four cone drivers, each 80 mm in diameter, take care of the midrange, which is critical for high-quality voice and instrument playback. These four bass midrange drivers and the tweeter can also be found in the centre channel speaker, which means all the speaker boxes have a common chassis configuration to ensure harmonious and pleasing sound reproduction. Detailed, smooth bass The bass fundament is provided by a compact and low-profile subwoofer capable of reproducing both detailed and smooth bass or blasting heavy bass frequencies into the room with the full power of its 150 watt sine amplifier and the remarkable air displacement of its 250 mm chassis. Surround sound at a low priceNever before has such astounding surround sound reproduction with Teufel quality been combined with exceptionally stylish design and made available at such a low price! The Concept R 2 means that passing up on a well-designed and great-sounding surround speaker system because of an expensive price tag is now a thing of the past.
The Concept R 2 subwoofer is responsible for the sub-bass in this system. Despite its compact size and discreet round design, this is a speaker that can really deliver intense deep bass when called upon. This subwoofer owes its sub-bass skills to a 150 W RMS power amp and a generously sized 250 mm bass driver, which provides more than enough bass for typical listening rooms of up to 30 m2 in size. The oval-shaped cabinet with convex side panels perfectly complements the well-rounded sound of the Concept R 2 subwoofer, making this speaker a real eye catcher as well. Only available with Concept R 2.
